Add something special to your wedding or special event with a live performance on the Great Highland bagpipes. I do performances in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, Southern Vermont, Eastern New York, and Northern Connecticut. You don't need to be Scottish or Irish to add this exciting touch to your day.
Musical selections include bagpipe favorites such as Scotland the Brave, The Rowan Tree, Minstrel Boy, Wearing of the Green, Skye Boat Song, and Amazing Grace. Special requests can usually be accomodated.
For all performances I will be fully kilted in appropriate highland dress for your function or event. I play a wonderful sounding set of Kintail bagpipes which were handcrafted in Glasgow, Scotland.

Wedding Bagpiper
Bagpipes have been a part of wedding ceremonies for hundreds of years. An elegant touch for a wedding ceremony, the instrument speaks of tradition and grandeur, and announces a celebration like no other.
Here are some points in a wedding ceremony or celebration where bagpipes fit in nicely:
For the ceremony:
Piping as guests arrive at the site of the ceremony. A piper can play near the entrance to the church or hall, or on a hill over-looking an outdoor service.
During the Processional.
During Meditation period in the service.
During the Recessional.
For the reception:
Playing outside the hall as your guests arrive.
Piping the bridal party into the hall.
Playing during the cocktail hour.
Surprise guests by having a bagpiper play at your promotional event, party, grand opening, or special celebration. Short processionals become grand celebrations when led by a piper!!
